Wellbeing is the overall improvement of an individual's (or group’s) condition, as it relates to any and all relevant dimensions that extend beyond the traditional notion of “health”. Common wellbeing interventions may include mental health strategies, such as stress management and emotional self-regulation, social strategies such as conflict resolution or the facilitation of effective communication and physical strategies such as mindfulness meditation and breathing exercises. These individual and small-group interventions work to promote an internal and external cohesion and harmony, which allow for an improved sense of satisfaction and fulfilment.
