We saw a total of the over 320 results at grades 9, 8, 7 or Distinction and Distinction*. 40% of all students enjoyed being awarded at least one of the highest grades 7, 8, 9 or Distinction / Distinction*

We were thrilled to see 71 grade 9s and 18 Distinction / Distinction * grades awarded to students.  70% of all students achieved a standard pass in GCSE English and 61% in maths.

We are proud to continue with our ambitious goals and being one of the fewer schools already hitting the government’s target of 75% of students being entered for the demanding EBACC subjects. 75.6% of all students at Rooks Heath School were entered and we celebrated some outstanding community language and science outcomes.

“The school has prepared me so well for my next steps. I feel confident in my ability and ready for further education”. Malachi, Year 11.

“I’m so happy to be coming back!” Muzammil, Year 11.

Mrs Manderson, Headteacher stated: “The performance of this cohort represents a significant improvement on the outcomes since 2019. The outcomes for students at Rooks Heath School continue to improve year on year. It must be recognised that some students would still have been resilient and persevered following the effects of the disrupted years. We are extremely proud of them all and wish them the best whether they choose to remain with us or move on to their next steps. We always keep in touch.”

Mr Parkinson, Head of Year 11: “Year 11 students should feel proud of their positive mindset throughout the last two years and going into the exam period. Their commitment, work ethic and resilience has been an example to all. I am delighted that so many students have achieved the grades required for them to successfully continue to the next stage of their learning and I wish all students the best with next chapter in their lives.”

For the fantastic community out there - parents, carers, family members and all who have supported the students and the school, a huge ‘thank you’ to you. We hope you will spend some time celebrating with your children.
