Dear Parents and Carers,
We hope you and your children have enjoyed some quality time during the summer. Before your child returns to school, we urge you to follow public health advice on testing, self-isolation and managing confirmed cases of COVID-19.
When an individual develops COVID-19 symptoms or has a positive test students, staff and other adults should follow public health advice on when to self-isolate and what to do. They should not come into school if
- they have symptoms,
- have had a positive test result or
- other reasons requiring them to stay at home due to the risk of them passing on COVID-19 (for example, they are required to quarantine).
Your child has been given an allocated day to attend the school site to carry out an LFD test which the DfE has asked schools to administer before all students start their first day. Please see the letters on our website here. Communication regarding time slots will be sent by your child’s Head of Year directly to them on 1st September.
Thank you for your cooperation in order to keep our school community safe.
We look forward to seeing all our students in school, every day and on time throughout the academic year.
Kind regards,
Miriam Manderson
Head Teacher
